Upgraded to hexcore~

Thread Starter
So I had been meaning to finally upgrade to a hexcore from my i7-930~ finally did it (no I didn't pay retail because my family member works for intel).

I haven't tried overclocking it but seems to be doing the job pretty well, and best of all, it's using very little power and runs 25C cooler (yes, you read that right) than my i7-930's overclock to 4.2ghz.

How far can the 970 go?

You can't really compare stock hexcore temps to overclocked quad core temps...

Go ahead and push that chip to it's limits though, I'll be waiting to see the clocks.
