The titanium hd is a complete POS compared to the meridian 2g.... read the reviews, another

no new games even use x-fi garbage
I find it laughable that someone who has no experience with the Titanium HD can make these comments.

FYI, the Titanium HD doesn't have a headphone amplifier built in. That's strike 1. The Titanium HD uses completely different components and has been redesigned from the Titanium or the Fatal1ty cards of old. That's strike 2. Even though games don't use EAX any more, Creative's DSP is far more capable in FPS gaming than the C-Media Oxygen HD DSP used by Asus, HT Omega and that Auzentech X-Meridian 2G that you listed. That's strike 3 and you're out.

Settle there Peddle. We get the picture that you have a deep hatred for Creative Labs, but please keep your seriously mis-informed advice to yourself.

Klipsch or any other "media speakers" will sound like utter crap. If money isn't a problem as you say, look into the AudioEngine A5. They will sound a lot better than any cheap garbage 2.1 or 5.1 set.

And don't buy a sound card based on "gaming features", aka worthless gimmicks. If your audio equipment is good enough, you don't need post-processing BS.

I was reading up on the Meridian and thinking to myself. So this is basically an Asus card. Even the control center reminded me of Asus.

Then I read further and apparently he didn't read the reviews he listed because it said clear enough that the Titanium HD doesn't have a headphone amplifier and that the Meridian 2g was the first to incorporate blah blah blah whatever.

It even said in the review that it's not targeted for gaming, but does well in certain games like COD, which as we all know the Asus can do very well in.

I decided not to tear him apart, but I see you've taken the pleasure to do so. lol.
