bad reviews are based on the rev2 drives.
They honestly are still great drives.. just even shorter lifespan than the initials/
Which is fine. back up your data and RMA it once a year under the new specs
(or once every ten years if you have a rev1)
People that comaplin about specs fail to realize that no way in hell will even the real SF driven SSDs hit those speeds except when writing 0s or 1s to the harddrive (ALL 0s or ALL 1s) in random data it shows up about 60% of that usually higher though..
Still.. SF is a great drive, have not had one fail on me yet. and I have had 3 non SF based corsair drives die on me. (well one was corsair sent me a efective unit back 4 weeks ago, still waiting on the SF replacment...)
Note to self.. never recommend corsair for Customer service quality. (they had the drive for 2 weeks and sent me a email the other day saying they were going to review my drive LOL the warranty service shows they shipped out the drive 3 (business) days after they got it.
I would complain and ask for a 3 month extension on the warranty.. since I have been without a working corsair SSD for that or longer now.. (3 RMAs) but if they think im keeping what they sell me.. they are SADLY mistaken.
(Force series are good.. and I asked for that in return for last RMA we will see though)
