Default Google Checkout

Have any of you used this before?

We're almost finished doing a site upgrade (adding lots of new stuff!) and one of the new options is offering Google Checkout as a payment method.

From our testing thus far, it's been fantastic. I'd use this over paypal any day. Just curious if anyone has any opinions on this system as well - feedback is good

For person-person transfers, I think paypal is still "easier" (but, I confess I haven't tested the Google system in that respect).

However, from a business/customer perspective, and from a website integration standpoint, it's much nicer. The merchant admin system for google checkout is VERY nice. Plus, the integration level is fantastic - it supports our coupon codes and give vouchers (also a new feature ) as well as dynamic calculated shipping rates, and if I update the order status via the google checkout system, it also updates the status on our website.

Plus, it's free through the end of the year

One of the things that has kept me to moving to google checkout myself is paypal. Is there a way to transfer funds? Paypal -> GC?

No, I don't think so. They don't want to place nice together

I imagine that paypal is still the better option for person to person transfers, but for shopping online, the nod goes to Google checkout.

EDIT: Actually, you may be able to do p2p transfers fairly easily.... though my account is a "business" account, I can send invoices to people. So it's possible that personal accounts can send invoices to one another as well? Anyone have a personal account who can verify this?

I would but Google Checkout doesn't accept Solo cards - thats one of the best bits about Paypal
