To upgrade, do you just have to have a legal copy of XP? How hard is it to upgrade, and can it be undone?

i use to install it for customers all the time and it did not require the disk nor did it require a legit keycode ( i would install it without connecting to the web)

it connects to the web to verify that all of your product is compatible but if otherwise you dont need to let it connect if you already know.
no it cannot be undone, unless you ghost your system or reinstal windows destructively (xp)
