There's some higher res pictures for you guys, in case you haven't gotten a good look at this beast yet. Check out pic 4 - that's a comparison between the IFX-14 and the Ultra-120. This thing is a beast

It's time like this when it's fun to look back into the site's archives to when the Big Typhoon was released and see how people reacted to how seemingly massive it was. Thanks for the pics!

Check this thread at xtremesystems; so far, it is not performing as well as the Ultra 120 ... just a preliminary *user* review ... but it is a bit interesting: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...136626&page=16

...

Can't wait to read other user reviews ...

The main problem I have with my thermalright ultra 120 extreme is that its so high that I had to take fans and brackets out of the side door of my stacker 830 to make it fit. Also, its so wide that it was banging into my thermaltake extreme spirit II (cooling my northbridge).

I finally took it out and put my zalman 9700 back in for now. I'm thinking about getting the Silverstone TJ09 case which has more internal height clearance.

Oh god imagine installation...... It was a pain helping my friend to install his Ultra-120 Extreme. Those sharp edges on every fin of that IFX-14 sure look scary.
