Default X3220 - G0 Stepping, On The Way!

http://www.tankguys.com/product_info...oducts_id=1770

I was only able to secure a few of them (supplies are VERY tight). I've had a lot of requests for these, so I figured I'd post and let you guys know they are en route. In Stock ETA of 10/4 or 10/5, as they are shipping in from California.

Act fast, these will go quick

Are these better than a 6600 G0 at overclocking? I haven't read much about these...

They haven't been out long because Server G0's take longer to hit the shelves, but this should overclock a bit better (even if purely thanks to the thermal rating)

i've heard that these server parts run hotter anyway, and therefore their thermal spec is higher. not worth getting excited over the q6600 from what ive heard.

I don't know about running hotter but they are engineered to withstand hotter temps than normal cpu's. They employ "higher" quality silicon or something like that, I think these are from the middle of the waffer so they are better than normal cpu's and should defanetly oc better also.

Any proof of running hotter?

I load at 63° on crappy water cooling at 3 GHz...
