Yep, sure does So here goes...

First off, TankGuys isn't the "legal" business name - it's our DBA. Our legal business name suits our services/commercial business well, but didn't fit at all with the consumer market. It's not even remotely catchy, and frankly it's boring.

So, a few years ago we were brainstorming trying to come up with a new name. We tossed a few ideas out, but didn't like any of them. Then one day I'm sitting on the couch with my wife and she says, "What about TankGuys? You and Dennis both like tanks..." (Dennis was the co-owner at the time).

At first, I laughed, thinking it was silly... but then, that's sort of the charm. People remember the name, and it generates interest. Of course, it's got nothing to do with what we sell - but what do eggs, tigers, or waves have to do with computers either?

So there you have it. You can thank my wife for the name Plus, think of it this way: Enthusiast rigs are like tanks - powerful, high tech machines meant to dominate the competition!

Haha, that's a pretty neat story And you're right, eggs, tigers and waves have nothing to do with computers. Neither does an xoxide.

LOL - Well done. Now only if you were able to ship to Canada without having us pay those exorbitant fees. Thinking of starting an auxiliary source in Canada?
