Is it free to use? Is it any good? Has anyone used it before, what do they think of it?

I used it for the first time the other day.

All i did was sign up and use it and i got £10 off my purchase lol

It doesn't do anything, it's just like buying off a website, but you enter a user name and password while you do it.

It is that simple.

For example, i had some stuff on Ebuyer.....it asked me to enter a password and username for google account (i did) and it just carried on as normal, like when you usually purchase somthing.

i've used it before with no problems. the first time you use it you get $10 off your purchase i think. i've used it twice and the first time it took a few days before they notified the other site of my order, not sure if that was a problem on googles part or not. but the second time i used it, my order went right though.

edit: basically like paypal, just "one click" purchasing so you don't have to reenter all your data for every site, just for google

So you get $10 the first time, and you can get another $5 with the promotion on Tankguys.com. That is $15 off on the first order.

Thanks for the info.

First time i used it was 1 minute after i signed up and got notification of purchase from both Ebuyer and Google a minute after i made the purchase.

I love Google checkout - it's free for us to use right now. When you guys use it, it saves me ~3-4% in costs on the order. So it's definitely my preferred method

From a customer standpoint, it's nice because then you don't have to share your CC info with every store you shop at. In fact, "properly" integrated sites allow you to do the entire checkout process through Google, so you don't have to create accounts at each store. For fraud control reasons, we don't have it that fully integrated, but it's a nice benefit at stores that do.

I will be using Google Checkout to purchase a 750 Silencer from you. Just have to figure out the rest of my upgrades.

It didn't charge me to use it, but it has separate order histories than the site you used it through so it can get confusing. Only used it once because it allowed me to get Steelsound 5HV2 headset for only $30.

I was talking to a online shop owner over here and he said that the PHP coding side of it isn't easy and takes quite a while as things need to be edited - take Tankguys a long time?
