Default Why does tankguys have such an issue with different billto/shipto addresses?
Basically, I tried to order a Q6600 G0 off tankguys, and they wouldn't ship it since the bill to/ship to addresses were different. I was having it shipped to my job's office. So basically I said screw it and ordered from newegg instead.

Why be so difficult with this? None of the other major suppliers have ANY problem with this. I ordered parts from zipzoomfly, newegg, and deadeye data, all w/ the same bill to/ship to addresses I tried to use w/ tankguys.

Tankguy is a small business and if they get scammed its alot bigger loss for them. While if zipzoomfly or newegg get scammed, anything under $1000 is no big deal at all to them. Thats probably why.

Not really, it's just stupid.

I can understand if they're worried about shipping to a foreign country or something, but when I'm shipping it to a corporate office, it shouldn't be an issue. Either way, I don't have time to jump through their hoops to get the CPU. I don't want the G0 that badly.

Newegg is no better, they blocked a $50 transaction because I used my name on the shipping address instead of my wife's and the card I paid with is in her name.
