Default Tankguys Shipping

Is tankguys shipping sign on delivery, or is it just like newegg's? I'm never home to sign for packages, so I'm curious.

I'd assume it's just the regular usps/fedex/ups to residential where they just drop it off or at the worst (make you go get it, which I guess is what your saying).

I know for a fact though fedex home delivery (ground for residential) does not require a signature according to their policy for making residential deliveries.

I bought an 800 dollar dell laptop and dhl made me sign for it, but that's totally unrelated to this thread because tankguys doesn't use DHL, they use Fedex

interesting, guess they really want to make sure you get it. Newegg and other places I've shopped at have no such policy. Which I guess is good and bad for some people. Man... if I had to sign for everything, then I wouldn't have gotten to play with some of my stuff the day it arrived either.

If you time it right (check fedex ground maps) fed ex home delivers on Saturday, (but not mondays fyi).

Yup, you have to sign for it. I don't like it either - but it's there for 3 big reasons:

1 - Credit card companies require it (think about it like signing receipts at stores)
2 - Prevent / combat credit card fraud
3 - Prevent packages from being left on your porch where they are easily stolen
