Will my 1 x 2Gb Kit PC2 5400 3-3-3-8 D9GMH $42.99 come with a heat spreader (another forum participant said it might) or do I need to get them separately?

Some do, some don't. To be safe, assume no.

That's odd - I don't recall seeing that come through. Feel free to send it again or shoot me a PM.

heatspreaders = fail.

all they do is block air from getting to the chips

hence why I never put my teamgroup spreaders on.

why do you think so many people like naked RAM?
