Default Teem XTreem is fantastic stuff

Bought Team PC 5300 667 2x1GB and have started using them. They will run 800 MHz 3-3-3-8 without error. Have had them up to 1085 @ 4-4-4-9 1T!
Although I had some difficulty in communicating with Tank Guys, their products are excellent and I will do business with them again!

Yea I've heard nothing but good things about them. One of the few sets of guaranteed GMH still on the market. Everyone is moving to 2x2GB setups it seems, but for $43 it's hard to pass on that 2x1GB setup, or even a 4x1GB setup for $86, the same price as the oh-so-popular G.Skill 2x2GB PC2 8000 set.

Did yours come with heatspreaders?

Here's to hoping Tankguys keeps them in stock for a long time to come.

FYI guys- I have been waiting on an RMA for my sticks of Team Xtreem for over 3 months at this point. If you don't plan on having your sticks go bad, then buy these. Else, go with someone else, like Crucial, Corsair, OCZ, anyone except Team. Their RMA department is awful, doesn't respond to emails, and generally drops the ball on their end when it comes time for customer service.

Here's a thread where I documented all of this- http://www.overclock.net/rants-raves...ent-doesn.html

I RMAed a set of my Team Xtreem modules and the entire process only took a little over a week. It was actually one of the smoother RMAs I've done, only newegg has been better.

Team has a US office, you need to contact them. They don't speak english too well, but I didn't have major hassles. I called, told a woman I wanted to RMA some Team Xtreem memory, gave her my e-mail, she sent me an RMA form, I filled it out and sent it back. The same day I recieved an RMA number and an address in california to send it to. I sent the memory there and had a replacement soon after.

I noticed you have the PC8000 2x1GiB. I do think they are now out of stock of that, so would have to send your stuff to Taiwan regardless. It sucks, but considering your modules haven't been produced in a year, it's not overly surprising.

Couldn't find a 2x2 GB set that excited me, so I ordered another set to make 4x1.

I got a DDR2 1300 kit (2 x 512 lol) and it screams. Cannot believe it boots at stock volts and then you can tweak the timings or push it to 1400 with 2.4V

I got an in-between kit (DDR2-800) that should tide me over until Team gets the 1000's in from Taiwan. They updated the heatspreaders, too, they look pretty nuts
