Default AMD Overpriced?

I'm not quite sure where you guys are located, but I just had a quick look over your AMD processor selection and was flabbergasted by the prices. My local shop has Phenom x4 9550 for $170, up to an x4 9950 BE for $250. The prices on your site ranged from $275 - $320. Just thought I would mention that the AMD prices seemed steep to me.

Yeah the egg has it for $15 less. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103251

Phenom just doesn't seem the way to go. I Love AMD but q6600 are so tempting for the price/performance with Overclocking.

Products that don't get a lot of traffic often don't get updated frequently on the site. They tend to focus right on the cutting edge, so if it's not a new release or a very hot item, you may want to post here or PM for current pricing.

you must be talking about memory express, they definitely have the best prices in calgary. but you are right, the q6600 is only $215 and is a way better processor.

Exactly. We haven't sold an AMD processor in a *long* time, so I haven't bothered to worry about updating them lately.
