Default Do TankGuys ship internationally?

Hi. I'm having trouble finding any Intel X-25M G2's (80GB) anywhere in Australia for a reasonable price. Do TankGuys ship internationally?

If they do, any rough guess as to how much it would cost to ship down under?

How likely is it that a SSD would be dead on arrival either through a manufacturers defect or damage during transit?

Cheers.

www.umart.com.au have them, no stock at the moment but they will only take 2 or 3 days to get them in and shipped to you for reasonable money, about $20AUD. The drive is $499
Low likely hood of damage due to no moving parts.

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately it seems they only have G1's listed and at $499 its a little high. TankGuys have the G2's listed for $250 US which at the current exchange rate is something in the range of $280-$290 AUS.

Guess i'll wait and see if they'll ship overseas. *crosses fingers*

Unfortunately, no, we don't

1 - Fraud. Biggest reason by far.
2 - Very high shipping costs.
3 - Import taxes / brokerage fees are killer.

Thank you for your reply. It is indeed unfortunate. I suppose i'll have to keep looking, or otherwise wait for G2's to become available here and hope the local stores don't ask an arm and a leg.

Cheers.

Yea, I'm kicking around offering again, but there are issues there too - mainly with the brokerage fees and customers refusing to pay them, then FedEx comes after us. Based on the simple math of how little profit we make per order, the sheer number of Canadian customers who stuck us with the fees, and how much those fees are, we were losing money doing it

yea, it sucks that FedEx and UPS charge brokerage fee for Canadian Goverment.

Last time I ordered one SSD ($269) from US, they charged me 200 for import tax, lol.

but if u ship items from USPS, it won't have this issue somehow
