Avoid Tuniq products like the plague. Unless you enjoy a company that doesnt back up their products and has no idea what customer service or support is.....

Those are pretty harsh words for a company that makes a standstill product with a fan attached. A replaceable fan at that. The directions are not great but they are more than good enough. Sure they don't have a full running video of the installation process but it is very straight forward.

Per Anandtech, it is one of the easiest fans to install and I have to agree. It is cheap, works out of the box (don't have to lap) and it keeps my CPU cool!

Winner in my book.

+rep for OP good find. At least $5.00 cheaper than what I have see it.

Well I have not heard of any bad things about Tuniq's customer support or anything like that. Only that its a really good cooler. And this is a good price. I'll definitly use one for my Core2 Quad build, which is not too far off in the future!

you and I are running the same thing as far as CPU HSF goes. yeah. I expected more from mine too. however i got a crappy quick app of as5 on it and i've read that when the TT120s are lapped the performance increases alot!

I hope you never need replacement hardware or backplate bracket. They will tell you to "find it on the internet on your own."

Maybe they do have bad customer service. Point is these things seem well made and very to break and therefore they don't really need good customer service. I guess you got unlucky maybe?

My temps are pretty good but I seem to remember others getting somewhat better temps.

wait a sec, why does one even need Customer service for a piece of copper and Aluminum. I also don't see why you would ever need another backplate as well.

Not to defend anyone here but I fail to see how that is Ironic or Contradictory. He obviously had to have owned a Tuniq to bear witness to this "terrible customer service" and noting how he said he wasn't bashing the product, just the customer service.
One of us fails to fully understand what is contradictory and ironic.

Great deal got one for my opty.Checked out the IFX-14 $80. and the Ultra 120 extreme with 939 bolt kit $70.Price/preformance.Ultra 120 seemed better but not $30. better.

ALOT of tuniq users have problems with the screws/screw springs. I.E. they break.

Just use bolts, they are like $1 from any hardware store. Better than the standard mount anyways.
