Hello everybody, I'm brand new here after ogling the posts that are on this site for several months. You guys have done some amazing builds, and I would personally just like to say, WOW!!!

I've spent a little time searching the forum, before deciding to post this question.

I'm about to start my second computer build while I have a bit of a lull at work. I have a white Phantom 820 case that's been sitting in my garage for months and I FINALLY get to get started on it. With that said, I always mod my stuff and this will be no different.

Wanted to start with the side panel, the one that has the acrylic, mesh, and fan on it. For what I would like to do, the panel (as is) just simply won't work. Some of the pre-made angles that NZXT cut into it - won't allow me to get the effect I'm looking for in a finished project. In short, they took too much of the metal panel away in areas that I need. So I ordered a new side panel from http://store.nzxt.com/product_p/pa-phan-wi.htm. I'll admit right up front, this may have been a bit of an impulse purchase without thinking about all the possible complications.

I'm wondering if anyone here can tell me if this side panel (which appears to be for an NZXT Phantom?) will be compatible with the NZXT Phantom 820 case? Or will I need to send it back?

No I think its only for the first Phantom, however to be sure you should PM IT Diva as I consider her pretty much an expert on Phantoms

Thanks.

The side panel arrived earlier this morning. You called it alright. Earlier model. It's about 2 inches 2 short on the top and bottom. Not sure if it's worth returning though. I'm starting to brain storm ideas on how to integrate it into the existing panel and create something all new.
