Roccat Taito

Posted

Pros: Qaulity, durable and price.

Cons: White wash from sweat over time possibly

Roccat Taito line comes in three sizes and two thicknesses. I chose the mid-size 3mm pad. Pick size according to your desk space or playing preferences.Replacing a Steelseries QCK+ the Taito is smaller size (see specs) and thicker in width. I've had this pad since February 2013. I've paired it with Savu, KPO, & ZA13. At first laying wrist over top was different than I was used to being thicker width but found the material soft, comfortable and became acclimated. I feel It's faster than QCK+ in speed / glide with no control or sensitivity loss.If replacing a pad like the QCK heavy, the Taito 5mm will be suitable. 5mm also comes in small, mid, & king sizes as do the 3mm thick...

Zowie ZA13

Pros: Great sensor - ambidextrous

Cons: Not for all type of game play or large hands

[[SPOILER]] The coating all around the mouse feels comfortable for my dry hands. It's more smooth than grainy. Good for palm grip or hybrid claw grip.I shook the mouse and I did not hear any rattling inside the shell, from the lens or the scroll wheel. The scroll wheel does not rattle back-and-forth. When I tried to move the scroll wheel side to side with my finger I would say there's a tad more play than my Savu. I feel it's in an acceptable range. When down clicking on the scroll wheel I do not feel any side to side movement. Its a tad more audible scrolling than my Savu scroll wheel. Perhaps the smaller ZA13 shell is a better fit around it over the other ZA's.I've never used blue...

Roccat Savu

Roccat Savu Reviewby Arizonian1. Scroll Wheel. Scroll wheel isn't really as noisy as some people make it out to be. It does make more noise scrolling upward than downward but the scroll wheel sounds and feels very solid. It's a bit noisier scroll wheel compared to the ones I own when scrolling UP but it's not the least bit distracting nor loud. To each his own preference, click or no clicks for a scroll wheel. I use the scroll wheel ALOT at work running through Excel spread sheets.2. Plug n Play.I plugged the Savu in at work and was running default without software or even an updated driver needed. I'm not allowed to download any software on work network. Plugged the Savu in at home and...

Mionix NAOS 8200

Posted
Pros 1. Best right handed palm grip mouse I've ever had the pleasure of putting my hand on. It's like someone put my hand into a clay mold and created this shell. Mionix topped it off with a rubberized texture that covers the entire mouse as if it was dipped. 2. LED lightning system is deeply customizable. One can set the NAOS 8200 to solid, blinking, pulsating, & breathing LED effects which can be run as a solid color or as a color shift. Color shift transitions very smoothly through the pre-set color wheel with no diffusion. 3. Quality parts using Omron switches and Avago 9800 sensor. Supposedly the delay bug found in other A9800 sensors has been fixed in the NAOS 8200 according to a...
