Outstanding value for such an amazing all-rounded earphone

Posted

Pros: Price, mids, highs, insane amount of tips, accessories, wire, durability, no microphonics

Cons: Bass, nozzle design, worldwide availability

Packaging & Accessories: 10/10 Build Quality: 9/10 Design & Look: 10/10 Microphonics (higher ratings means lower cable noise): 10/10 Isolation: 8/10 Comfort: 9/10 Audio Quality: 9.5/10 Value: 10/10 My final Rating: 10/10 Purchase Date: November 2013 Purchase Price: £112 First of all I would say a huge thank you to Zarni from the USA for sending me out the VSonic GR07 MK2 Pro. I've always wanted to get my hands on the VSonic range, due to their incredible praise they received in the recent years. The GR07 MK2 Pro, being regarded by many as one of the best earphones, not only in its price category but as a neutral sounding earphone with a little punch. I can't comment on the other VSonic...

Spacious sound with a great mid-bass slam

Posted

Pros: Bass, soundstage, highs, accessories

Cons: Mids

Reviewing price: £37 The silver bullets are an extremely capable sounding set of earphones. They have a a significant impact on low end tones and have this spacious sound, that really complements any type of music. To detail this review, I'll split it into sections. Accessories: The extras that come with the Silver bullets is decent. You get 6 sets of tips: 1x small grey silicone tips 1x small black silicone tips 1x medium grey silicone tips 1x medium black silicone tips 1x large grey silicone tips 1x large black silicone tips You also get a small little tray with prongs on it, to put your tips on it, in order to keep them safe in a certain location Furthermore you get a shirt clip,...

Disappointing sound at any price range

Posted

Pros: Small factor and accessories

Cons: Sound quality

Reviewing price: £59 The Epsilon earphones are on of the very few earphones I've reviewed that I've not really enjoyed at all. I found the overall package and the lack of any sort of detail, especially at such a high price worrying. I shall break down this review in seperate parts. Accessories: The extras that come with the Epsilon is disappointing considering their price range. You get 3 sets of tips: 1x small grey silicone tips 1x medium grey silicone tips 1x medium black silicone tips You also get a shirt clip, that is used for securing the earphones to your clothes and finally you get a nice little pouch with the Fischer Audio logo on it, that is extremely useful for protecting...

Decent earphones, however with a lack of real definition

Posted

Pros: Accessories and looks

Cons: Overall sound

Reviewing price: £32 The Golden Wasp are a decent set of earphones that are quite affordable, however for the price one could get a better all-rounder or specific sounding earphone from the FA range. I feel as if the Golden Wasp doesn't really fit into any sort of category and is "in-between" genres. Accessories: The extras that come with the Golden Wasp is decent. You get 3 sets of tips: 1x small black silicone tips 1x medium black silicone tips 1x medium black silicone tips You also get a nice little pouch with the Fischer Audio logo on it, that is extremely useful for protecting (not from drops) the earphones. I really like the pouch included and the accessories that are included...

Very disappointing for the high price tag

Posted

Pros: Design

Cons: Price

Reviewing price: £50 The Draco headphones are supposed to be portable headphones that are offered by Fischer Audio, to appeal to a younger crowd. With that in mind, the headphones with mic come in at around £50. However, these, without mic can be found for under £15 - a better reflection of their sound quality and build quality. As the headphones cost £50 - I will base my review on that price tag, rather than the much more reasonable £15 price tag (where it would score 3-4/5, rather than 1/5). Accessories: There is nothing included with the headphones, which is quite disappointing, especially seeing as they are priced quite high. Design and Looks: The design is aimed towards younger...

Excellent boombox

Posted

Pros: Design & looks, sound quality, functionalities, volume & clarity

Cons: Price, weight and size makes it barely portable, lack remote control, lack of Bluetooth functionality

Packaging & Accessories: 10/10 Build Quality: 9/10 Design & Look: 10/10 Audio Quality: 8.5/10 Functionalities: 8.5/10 Value: 7/10 My final Rating: 8/10 Purchase Date: September 2012 Purchase Price: £350 Packaging & Accessories: The packaging and accessories of the TDK 3 Speaker Boombox are what I expected to arrive in the package, especially the USB to iPod connector which is included too. In the package you should receive: -3 Speaker Boombox -FM radio receiver -AM radio receiver -AM radio stand -3.5mm to 3.5mm wire -1/4 adaptor -Charging block -Wall charger wire -USB to 30 pin iPod connector -Multi-lingual manuals Overall first impressions: My first impressions were very positive, both...

Affordable mouse with nice functionalities

Posted

Pros: Cheap and efficient

Cons: None

I got this mouse for review from Perixx. I was aware of its price and was thus looking forward to its performance. The mouse works as I would have imagined, it is accurate, its DPI switch allows you to quickly change speed and its wireless functionalities allow one to use the mouse from distance. With 5m I had no trouble using the mouse (I didn't try it at 10m as I can't even see what I'm doing on my monitor at that range). Its ergonomics is what really makes this mouse great. It is a small mouse, that fits small hands very well. With that said, if you have bigger hands, like myself, you'll need to find a different mouse, as it isn't made for people with bigger hands. On the note of...

EXCELLENT Antennas

Posted

Pros: Price, range, design

Cons: 2.4ghz only

It is a must buy if you want to increase your 2.4GHZ range with a reliable connection. I used three of these on an extender, in order to get full bars to my dual bank 2.4/5ghz TP-LINK N750 router. These are quite long, so do bear that in mind. Just a shame that they aren't 5ghz compatible. That would be been the cherry on top.

Excellent router, good connectivity!

Posted

Pros: Functionalities, dual band, speed

Cons: Range

This router is really excellent for the price. I bought this in order to by-pass Sky's horrible Sky Hub. Having to flash DD-WRT on it, I really loved unlocking the full potential of this router. It does dual band 2.4ghz and 5ghz with ease. It is extremely reliable. No drop-outs for over 2 months - as one would expect. The only problem with this router, and why I gave it 4/5 is because of its range. My mother's PC is around 15m away, and has two walls in-between. As much as I know it won't get full bars over there, I was at LEAST expecting 5GHZ to be achievable there. 5GHZ, due to its different waveform penetrates walls a lot worse than 2.4GHZ does. Due to this, my mother's PC, which has a...
