A lower-end model from the famous S4's

Posted

Cons: Lows, accentuated highs, straight jack, no volume control, microphonics, price

Packaging & Accessories: 8/10 Build Quality: 6/10 Design & Look: 6/10 Microphonics (higher ratings means lower cable noise): 6/10 Isolation: 6/10 Comfort: 8/10 Audio Quality: 7/10 Value: 8/10 My final Rating: 7/10 Packaging, accessories, box content, overall first impressions (look wise) Packaging: The packaging I received seemed to have been a pre-opened package, that had then been authorised by Klipsch and re-packaged. The packaging is quite flashy and you'll be able to see it on shop floors quite easily. Accessories: The accessories provided are sufficient for earphones of their price. You get a set of small, medium and large tips along with a small compact case. I must say I was...

Excellent upgrade over the last generation

Posted

Pros: Price, portability, sound, connectivity, battery life

I've owned the XMI X-Mini II 2nd Generation Capsule for over 5 years now and was sent this Max Duo for review, to see how the new ceramic driver has improved and/or changed the sound. First of all the accessories that you get with the Max duo: -Pouch -Cable: Inputs are a 3.5mm jack and a USB port. Outputs are two mini USB connections -Manual I found the accessories provided to be useful and perfect for the given price-point. Build quality: The capsule speaker has a great build quality, especially with the cool metal finish on the outside. I was sent the Purple one to review and I quite like how they applied the finish on the product. The capsule has a 3.5mm jack that's located...

Cons: Price, comfort, lows, isolation

I've previously stated how much I like the Fischer Audio packaging and it's no different here. I really like the packaging and carrying case that comes with the FA-004's. It's simple and yet extremely effective for portable use. Accessories: I was surprised at the amount of accessories you get included with the...

Excellent wireless mouse works at great distances too!

Posted

Pros: Price, portability, use, design, can be used with left-handers

I got the wireless flip-tail mouse, as it provides something completely different than what I'm used to. The beauty of the flip-tail mouse is the fact that it can be extremely portable and be stored easily in a suit jacket. I will now breakdown my thoughts on several aspects of the mouse: Design & Look: The design works great, especially because a lot of mice don't have left hand support. This mouse works both for left handed people and right handed people. A simply change on Windows should enable left hand people to sue this mouse with relative ease. The look of the mouse is very sleek and elegant, I think this appeals to professionals as well as enthusiasts. It is also a comfortable...

Excellent wireless card!

Posted

Pros: Speeds, capabilities, price, discrete

Cons: Range (antennas)

Was a little sceptical at first, but this card is really easy to setup and use. I put this in my Z77 Sabertooth and the driver utility was installed within minutes - I was on the internet. I have to say I wasn't able to install the utility was I'm on 64-bit, however I didn't spend much time looking nor caring, as I won't need the utility anyway. The signal strength is also very good and connectivity is perfect. Can't really see anything wrong with the card. If one does need better signal, I highly suggest investing in some beastly antennas (ie 9db ones) - Only problem with those antennas is that they might not be 5GHZ capable - so do bear that in mind!

Excellent mouse - extremely good looking too!

Posted

Pros: Looks, design, functions, ease of use

Cons: Software customisability, assigning keys, lack of profile switch button

Price reviewed: £16 After reviewing the Anker 8000DPI Gaming mouse - I was intrigued how the 2000DPI one compared. Here is my review for the 8K DPI one: http://www.overclock.net/products/anker-high-precision-laser-gaming-mouse-with-8000-dpi-9-programmable-buttons-weight-tuning-cartridge-omron-micro-switches/reviews/5629 I found that the 2K DPI mouse was extremely precise, I had no problems browsing, gaming and even using the mouse as a multimedia mouse. It does everything right, apart from a few things, which I feel I should mention: -Software customisability: I found that the customisability is lacking here. Anker for some reason thought to limit the customisability of the mouse to...

Great all-round mouse for a cheap price

Posted

Pros: Small, lightweight, reliably, ergonomic, functions

Cons: None

£10, 2000 DPI, excellent design, elegant and a tiny USB for connectivity. What else could you ask for? This mouse is brilliant in all aspects! Really love using it as a on-the-go mouse! The USB connector is really small that, it even stores within a compartment of the mouse, meaning it is very easily portable. Don't get me wrong though, the mouse is not made JUST for on the go - far from it, it is extremely versatile; put it that way. There's no negative points I can draw out for this mouse, as it does everything SO RIGHT. Its precision is excellent and browsing the internet with its ergonomics is fabulous! Get one, trust me, you won't regret it !

Brilliant camera, great performance, great all-rounder

Posted

Pros: Picture & video quality, audio recording, design, Logitech software, weight

I bought this camera wanting a nice 720p HD recording camera. I went a little overboard and decided to get the 1080p HD variant and got the 615HD from Logitech. From my point of view, I use it mainly for Skype, and occasionally for pictures. I must say the picture quality is brilliant. The video quality is crisp and clear, the audio pick-up is excellent and accurate, the light indicator makes it easy to know when the camera is in use, its design makes it very versatile and finally its software makes it a breeze for sharing and taking pictures/videos. I really like this camera, and really would recommend it to anyone wanting 1080p recording with a 8mgpxl camera.
