Best Sound to Price Ratio Out There!

Posted

Pros: Lightweight, Loud, 3.5mm & 1/4" jack, COMFORTABLE, Airflow, Long Cable

Cons: Less Bass than Expected, Large(only for small heads), No Mic

Overall these headphones have been nothing but a blessing to my music and gaming experience. While the bass on these headphones is not overwhelming, it is definitely there and when put with a good sound card you can get more out of them. They are so light you don't even feel them sitting on your head! I really mean this, I fell a sleep with these bad boys on and when I woke up 4 hours later my ears or head weren't hurting at all! This is a significant plus in my books for long gaming sessions where headaches could become apparent. Besides a few cons which every pair of headphones can have cause it's all personal preference the pros by far outweigh them. If I had to go back and do it...

Amazing Drive for RAID 0

Posted

Pros: Single Platter, 500GB Platter, Runs Cool

Cons: None as of right now

The Samsung Spinpoint F3 500GB Single Platter HDD's have been the best hard drives I have ever owned. They run incredibly cool and are basically silent if you have standard 1800RPM fans in your case. I had for of these HDD's setup in RAID0, short-stroked down from 2TB to 200GB and they performed flawlessly for me for close to a year and a half, Just recently I had an issue with two of them going out on me at the same time but that is expected when you are running them in a RAID setup. I bought all four of them at the same time and the other two I have in a RAID0 right now and they are still running strong for me. Performance When I had these HDD's short-stroked they reached speeds of...

Battlefield 3 - The Best is Yet to Come

Posted

Pros: Graphically Dynamic Game, Destructible Environments, Squad Gameplay, Lots of Weapon Unlocks and Customizations

Cons: Long map loading screens, Clunky Web Browser Server Launcher, Weapon & Vehicle Balance/Power Issues, Knifing someone takes to long

Since I have started playing BF3 I have felt as if there has been some balance issues regarding the weapons of the game. This still does not compare to the levels of BF2 but they are on the right track. Once the Back to Karkand expansion comes out I believe there will be many improvements which will give the game better playability. The reason I gave this game 4/5 flames is due to the sub-par graphics driver optimization on launch. Both Nvidia and AMD should have been better prepared for this and even though it may not be DICE's fault they usually get the blame cause of this. I do not have much experience with all the classes as I have bound myself to playing Recon, why? I have...

Team Fortress 2 - The Good, The Bad and The Hats

Posted

Pros: Free to Play; Involves Teamwork; Unique Gameplay Experience; Fast Paced w/ Little Downtime; Constantly Updated

Cons: Easy to Learn, Hard to Master; Random Crits; To Many Hats!

Team Fortress 2 is a game unlike you have ever played before. It is cartoony, yet, still realistic enough to not deter the eye candy kind of guys. Your overall experience will be both of fun as well as rage... mostly rage when you first start playing, but overtime as long as you are half way decent at moving and shooting more fun will become apparent. You have 9 different classes to choose from, each class has it's own unique ability, I'll explain a bit about the classes roles below: Scout: The fast guy on the team, while he has some of the lowest life his agility and jumping abilities it keeps him alive in the most underdog of situations. Most people start playing as the scout as it...
