nice find! those telepathic things look scary. and the graphics are far superior to current source engine games, w00t. too bad my rig would be hard pressed to run it @ decent settings...

What? Are the HL2 episodes much more demanding than HL2 itself then? My X800Pro runs HL2 fine... 7900 should be more than enough.

They have better graphics so that means more load on the graphics card.

It's not that big of a difference though. A couple fps lost here and there but nothing major. The Source engine is so damn sexy. It almost looks as good as Crysis in that preview <3

Well dont forget that they said it will now be optimized for multi-core computers, so thatll help out with the newer graphics.

Plus my theory is that at the last minute they are going to show off the fact that they added motion blur. It is a theory of mine, but if you go to IGN and look at the newer portal video, there is a scene where they had motion blur. Maybe they were just testing it or something, but if its in portal, itll be in episode two.
