Sony hasnt bricked a console w/ games or firmware updates but it happens everytime M$ does it.

yeh i got the 3 red rings as well 20 seconds into starting halo 3, glad am not the only one...sucks that this happening

Lol, we had a little halo day at our school, where everyone bought their box, and a friend of mine who's the ultimate halo fanboy had his xbox get the red ring after playing it for a good while

If you think this through it is just that there has been a huge influx in the use of the 360 nation wide since the release of halo 3. This has just brought some underlining problem with the overheating issue with the 360 to serface sooner on a bunch of systems that would have soon or later anyway.
__________________Only run your 360 for a hour and then break for 15 minutes or so and keep it well ventilated. -Z

Apparently RRoD's are not caused solely by overheating nor can a game cause them on its own. Read THIS
__________________After reading the above link I'm really kind of pissed. I just got a replacment unit back from microsoft and it dose not have the HDMI port on it. Dose this mean that I got a system back that will eventully fail as well?
