Since when is 7.7 deserving of "suck"? Last time I checked most games rated above 7.0 are usually quite enjoyable.

I read reviews for the details about the game, not their opinion.

I also have a newsflash for you.
When one website reviews a game, it is usually also ONE person that reviews the game, and while (sometimes, in my experience IGN hasn't) they try to be objective, it is, of course, the (keyword) Opinion and (keyword) Game Experience of the person reviewing, which, by the whole damned definition, intellectual theories, and sociological studies of such traits, will vary from person to person. So how the damned hell are you basing such a misleading title on the opinion and experience of (keyword) ONE (1) person? Apparently, you haven't even played it yourself. And now I see (thankfully few) others coming to conclusions based on a wonderfully single and completely solitary review. Before posting again, let me school you Metacritic or GameRankings average the reviews from most well known sites, as well as lesser known sites (though they take as final tally only professional review sites, but you can see both tallies). Either way, they take many reviews, from many different people. IF the game is awe inspiring, you should see a very high mode above 85, and most (by most I mean, more than 51%) should give the game the equivalent of a high score (be it 4/5, 9/10, 90/100, or A). If the game sucks, like your title says, most (51% again) should give the game the equivalent of a low score. Again, that depends. Finally, if the game's score oscillates, then that's a good representation that the experience is extremely subjective (like Psychonauts) and you should definetly try it out for yourself if that type of game appeals to you. http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/930278.asp As far as I can see, that's pretty good. Pretty far from "sucks" I guess. Sure, the sample is small, but we can track its progress with this, and as far as I can see, it does not "SUCK". (So far). I hope you find in this post some inspiration and try not to make misinformed conclusions (or logical fallacies) next time. I hope you learned something today, and it made you less of an intellectual n00b.

wow, that's sad that it didn't get an awesome score but that's life. I'm guessing most people didn't read the review they just looked at the score and stated complaining. Well I think he did an awesome job of explaining why it's just good but not great.

People judge games by what others say. But they never actually get the game, and get to play/know the game as a whole. Reading reviews only gives you bits and pieces of the game. Some highlighting flaws, some highlighting good things about the game.
__________________But they might not even have mentioned something else thats in the game, that you might love. Dont judge a book by its cover. Or IGN.

Know what i love? When reviewer complain about a game being repetitive, but what do they expect from an assassin game? For you not to try and assassinate someone on every level? The fact that they allow you free reign on how you want to kill them and where, is an amazing feat.
