As someone looking forward to AC myself, I have to say that I'm hoping Yahtzee does a Zero Punctuation review for it.

And remember kids, Computer Gaming World gave Deus Ex 3.5 out of 5 and seven years later you can still find it on hard drives across the globe, including mine.

I would advise against judging a game based on one review. As with Crysis, it appears to me that the vast majority of development time was spent on building the engine and technology of the game and some sacrifices were made in the gameplay. Having said that, some of the very best games ever had "repetitive" gameplay and everyone loved them anyway.

Im picking mine up today...

So many good games get bad reviews, and so many bad games get good reviews.


And dude, a 7.5 from IGN is not a bad rating. It clearly says its a GOOD game. You should change your title. Most games get 6-7 ratings. 7.5 is a good rating for a game.

I bought this game yesterday and so far I have to say that I really love this game....I have assassinated two people so far and I must say that as the game goes on you get more attributes for better and more complex fighting moves, the enemies get harder and smarter and you get more area unlocked from you ancestors memory.

Thats the odd thing though, I rarely buy a game that has a lower then 8 rating on IGN. However, like we all have said, I don't give a hoot what IGN says...I just check to see what they say and continue on with my own decision, unless the game scored like a 5 or something.
