True but wouldn't It make sense to take more than one review into account. Individual reviews can be biased and misleading, of course it's only one persons single opinion. I think reviews, as a whole are indicative of a games quality but there are always exceptions. It doesn't help when publishers and developers hype a game up so much that we all end up having huge expectations of it. I belive the best way to avoid making a mistake is to get yourself a copy of a demo or beta version, how better than to actually play the game before judging it, games can always appeal to different people in many different ways so you really don't know until you play the game. Another great thing about demos is that you can get a good idea on how well the game will run on your hardware, theres nothing worse than buyign a game youve been waiting months for and finding out it wont run at a playable frame rate.
