Also, I understand that they are a german company but they should release a uncensored game for america. They removed alot of the blood and the ragdoll physics after death because of german law. However it is perfectly legal here... "Photorealistic" would need realistic ragdolls as well, and shooting a corpse and having it sit there and doing nothing isn't realistic.

Also, all the graphics of the current crysis will be updated as they release expansions. Meaning that all the new textures and animations will be part of the current game in the future.

You are talking about the one, on IRC, incrysis right? I assume that you are talking about that. Yeah, crysis will most likely be an expansion, but it will hopefully be fully interactive environment, fully destructable and that the leaves and braches will be able to be detached from trees

people don't realise that cryengine 2 will be definetly used, after all it costs a crap load of money to build an engine from the ground up.

Also, that photorealistic graphics can be achieved this very instance, however, the only barrier is h/w. I am actually amazed of how our puney graphics card can render things @ such detail
