Yes it was on IRC. Hopefully the next gen GPUs that come out are alot faster than the 8 series cause if they arnt they wont be able to give crysis that much better graphics.

The things I hate would be that nukes and other exposions and tornados dont fully rip everything apart. Nukes and tornados need to rip trees up ALOT more than they do. The physics really arnt the part of the game that cause FPS loss so I don't see why they did that. If I blow up 20 buildings my frames don't really drop at all..

So we might see this game in what centrury? I mean we might see the hardware for this game in what century? I am guessing 10x-SLi with Gx2 Style cards and Quad Cell Processors which should give you about 20fps almost playable.

Seriously they need to fix crysis first there are way to many bugs in the game that reduce frame rates and make it hard to even play the game for no reason. First fix the bugs then make the sequel.

However being in its current state if they release it for 20 bucks and call it a benchmark tool\game than I will be very excited for its release but crysis as it stands feels like an overpriced benchmark tool.

Hope they go for gameplay and playablility this time.

yeah, I noticed that, the way the tree broke and fell was very cool, but when you tried to rip apart a branch it didn't work, oh well can't have everything.

some of the tornadoes didn't really destroy everything. But what a game !!!!

oh can you edit the SP maps? I want to make it tougher then it really is right now, add a few more bots to the maps.

u can rip apart each branch on each tree,
and theres some things in crysis that u cant pick up and stuff,
but in farcry EVERYTHING is interactive
theres even storms

storms exist in every game you know weather and whatnot have existed in every game well almost every new game, I am assuming you meant environmental destruction? like fire...and no not everything in far cry 2 is interactive(see gameplay) the small bushes don't move, we will see what they say/claims = to what they deliver. Gonna have to see more to be convinced to go out and buy.

I cant believe they are going to make this game even more hardware intensive. As it stands you cant even play it in dx10 @ decent resolution, even with a killer gaming rig. Well you can play it if you like playing at 15 fps that is.... i hope the next line up of nvidia cards really raise the bar or I'm going to be very disappointed.

I agree I upgraded my PC to play crysis just thinking that I had alot of preformance issues (which I did but not as bad as I thought). Its funny how buggy crysis is and they are already working on #2. I can see the ad now

Crysis 2: The greatest game you will might be able to play in about 2 years after you buy it..... but well hey its a pre-order that you can kinda like play the game on low settings because very high is almost like playing a game of controlled screen shots.
