Default [incrysis]First Real Signs of Crysis 2!

Quote:
Since 2006 there has been numerous hints from Crytek that Crysis will be a trilogy. The latest hinting occurred on November 16th. Now, thanks to a tip from francis_23, we have GameStar's report from Lichtblick4D Meet & Greet where Lead Animator & Animation Manager Steven Bender revealed the first small details on Crytek's plans for Crysis 2.

the second part is to resume not only history around Koreans and Aliens

According to him, the developer's attention will be even more focused on graphics. There will be numerous improvements regarding textures (especially facial textures) and 3D-animations. Their ambitious aim is to push the game's visuals to an advanced level, that could be considered near photorealistic movie quality.
Uber!! , I can't wait to see how good crysis will look

The fact that they are planning development for a more advanced edition of cryengine 2 when nobody in the world is playing crysis at max settings yet kinda blows my mind. Exciting though! I'm sure this will be great. Bring it on

Not to mention working out the bugs.

With all the money they made off Crysis maybe they can get a QA department!].

Companies need to take a tip from Valve and optimize things a lot. While not optimizing will keep it around for a few years for benchmarking, people will actually play your game if it plays well on todays, and yesterdays cards.

Crysis 2 by valve = playable on midrange cards, and still looks good.... Though at the end "Nomad" might be reveled as Gordon Freeman.

Edit: One minute your post is above this one, I reply, and now I am above you. Very odd lately.
