I actually think a wii revision might be kinda good, not sure what it would be for though.

I dunno. =|

Vulcan said it perfectly. The figures prove it. And like it or not it is a war between companies for sales.

Wait, let me backtrack...there is one "bull" statement in the article; specifically, how Sony continues to argue that they are going to win the console war in a 10-year life span. Nobody cares...most of us are not going to be playing the X360 or PS3 in 10 years. The people who will still be buying PS3's then are the people who are buying new PS2's now, i.e. not exactly the strong gamer type. It is quite probably that Sony will sell more PS3's in 10 years than Microsoft sells X360s, because Microsoft will have long moved on to the next gen by then if their history is any guide. Note to Sony: console cycles are not ten years no matter how many times you say it.
Ya I think this guy argued his point very well. Sony has never done First Person Shooters very well, Killzone sucked bad. M$ has alot of differant types of games going for it for every type of gamer. Arcade for casual, FPS for people who like those games, Live for the people who like online, RPG and JRPG games for people who like a good story, and it even has RTS games like Halo Wars and LOTR Battle for Middle Earth.

I will probably buy a PS3 when the next Xbox is released to keep me buisy till I figure out if there and RROD or similar problems. But that will be at end of this current generation and I will probably only have like 2 or 3 games for it which will be FF13 and possibly MGS4.

Then explain why the PS2 is selling like hotcakes. Half the foundation of your argument is shot based on PS2 sales. Granted it might have been released 10 years ago, but still, 8 years is pretty close.

Because you have kids getting old enough to afford one on their own. My step sister just got her PS2 this past christmas. It's cheap and there's lots of games for it.

Because the current consoles are not stable(as in which will be better or have more games) yet and they still cost way too much. Why did DVD sell more when HDDVD was in a war with Blu-ray? Why is DVD still selling more than Blu-ray? Because the current format is not stable and of course, the price.

I remember getting every console after price drops last generation. There has yet to be a major price drop this generation. These prices are still launch prices. As soon as they drop the prices, the current consoles will appeal to more casual gamers and PS2 sales will decline.

And has way more people and more features than PSO. Also Home won't beat XBL. It's a useless feature that does nothing but look pretty IMO.

lol if anything the online for xbox is a disadvantage. Who the hell wants to pay to play online, you've already shelled out big bucks for the console, $50~ per game, and now they want you to pay to play online? So what if it's got a great community?
