You are right. The 360 version is much clearer. The PS3 version seems to have a fog or dust thing going on. But if you watch the Crash sequence at the end, the 360 seems to have a slight stutter as the car crashes, which the PS3 does not have.

So they both have issues...

The whole deal has nothing to do with the 360 version looking slightly sharper.

Part of the video shows two instances of the PS3 version. The whole deal is that during that comparison one of them looks better than the other even though they are both the PS3 version. The better version was labeled the 360 even though it shows PS3 buttons.

minimal difference in my opinion. both consoles seem to have the same amount of power/visual-quality. people fighting over which is better just seems stupid to me. hell, i don't own either

I understand that this is the corrected version. No one cares about the corrected comparison. My point is that there is no big deal with the corrected version. The problem was with the original version that made the credibility of GT questionable.

The OP asked what the big deal was with the 360 version being slightly sharper.

Where was that ever a big deal?
