Sony needs more RPG games.
Like honestly sony tried so hard to make a decent shooter (killzone) which failed in comparison to Halo which is what it was made to compete against. (the PS2 had like no shooters) The funny thing is that they finnaly make a decent shooter (Resistance) and Xbox gets a new hit shooter (Gears of War and 2) at almost the same time. And Halo 3 only added to the bad luck for sony when it came out months later.

There making to many shooters and not enough RPG games. Lost Odyssey was great, like games people used to play on the PS1, and reminded me alot of FF10.

Slightly off topic but when are the new generation consoles expected to come out, the replacement to Ps3 and Xbox 360?

I concur. Anyone who is serious about RPG games will still be gaming on their PS2 since good RPG titles are still being released like the recent Persona 3 FES and Mana Khemia. The PS3 has nothing interesting thus far and without backwards capabilities for the 40GB PS3, they're alienating RPG gamers.

ps1 was RPG haven because of the storage adv over n64, maybe the same will be true for PS3 as 1080p cinematics will take ALOT of storage

Ya I know but it seams that the 360 is getting all the RPG's and there just puting the games on multible disks. Like Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey are 3 and 4 disks long. There both 360 exclusives.

With Blu Ray the JRPG makers should be just rolling out the games. Expecialy after a year.
