I'd rather have too much guitar hero than not, even if it means flooding us with it.

Wait a second. Aren't they coming out with GH4 this summer? What the heck is the big deal with these games. Stop wasting your money, and buy some real instruments.

I would buy a game of just the Metallica Garage Days covers alone... that double disc is amazing....

I know they are milking it but this is the kind of stuff people wanted a few years back and never got.

Yeah, no kidding. Then maybe those idiots who play Need for Speed would give that up and just go buy real race cars, and those FPS morons would just go buy real guns.

It's called a game. The idea is to be able to pick something up with a few friends and be able to have some fun. Until there's a record contract unlockable for beating Guitar Hero, gamers will buy games and musicians will buy instruments.

That being said, I really don't like all these single-band releases of Guitar Hero. The real strength in the previous titles came from the variety. If you get together 5 or 6 people to mess around with GH or Rock Band everyone could find at least one song they enjoyed. There aren't many bands where I'd even want to listen to their entire CD, let alone play through them as an entire game.

That kinda sucks because that means no metallica expansion packs for guitar hero 4 or songs in it that I could drum to.

I guess I see where you are coming from. I'm just pissed they are taking all of us for a ride with all these new releases. I would be more pleased if they would just release new song packs for one game rather than creating a new game for a couple of new songs\artists.

I mean Guitar Hero 4, Guitar Hero Aerosmith, Guitar Hero Metallica, etc.

What next, Guitar Hero 1: The Remix and Guitar Hero Beach Boys.
