I heard AoC PvE is grossly inferior to WoW's. Confirm/deny?

No. This is the attitude that is ruining WoW. "WAHHHH I WANT COOL STUFF BUT I DONT WANNA WORK FOR IT". Go away. Play on a private server or play solitaire. Then you can press "Hint" and win everytime.

Wow,

Such Contrasting statements from the same person?? I guess its better just to check something out for yourself, rather then go off of opinions.

People seem so quick to jump to conclusions.

I like AOC, I like WOW. they're different, but both enjoyable.

I just got a laugh after reading both news posts from WOWRIOT

World of Warcraft was one thing and one thing only:

An amusement park...

That being said is there anything wrong with an Amusement Park? Nah they're fun as hell if done right (which WoW was) I played it for a year or two then moved on.

AoC just looked like WoW with a new engine (Which every MMORPG thats been released recently does)

WoW is a very basic game and it can be used as a Foundation for any MMORPG but if you build an MMORPG with a WoW-like foundation and DON'T EXPAND then you suck............. 'nuff said

i own both WOW and AOC, I think WOW is easier and more relaxing while AOC require more attention and skill. Both games are great!

That's because people may actually want to play AoC, unlike Crysis.

I've heard great things about this game, however I don't like MMOs.....I thought it was kind of absurd when I read that some people were calling the game a failure.

If you play ANY game 20 hours a day that's sad.....you need to seek help because you have a problem. There is no chance for exercise, proper sleep, productivity with a job (even if you do work on a PC.)
You have zero chances at a normal/healthy life if you game 20 hours a day.....

Aoc takes more skill... I played wow and aoc both (played both betas as well) and aoc does NOT take more skill. Tempest of sets are grossly overpowered right now and can destroy anything easily also all the melee in aoc sucks terribly. Basically every melee finisher move is like SLAM for a warrior in wow you cant move while doing it and anyone with half a brain will move out of its range so it doesn't land.

I had ~5 friends quit wow and move to aoc, 4 are back already and 1 just quit playing both. Not saying aoc is trash, but it has a long long way to go to compete with wow. Especially in the competitive e-sport type deal wow has been getting into lately. (3v3 MLG/CGS/WCG)

PS: +2400 at one point in all 2s/3s/5s so I think id know if wow took skill (maybe in low end arena it doesn't but try playing in the high ends), also we are 2nd place in our battlegroup right now in 5s with feral druid/warrior/warlock/hpally/dpriest, let me know how using a class/spec that has 0% representation in high end pvp and getting 2nd place in a battlegroup takes no skill.

edit: sorry I just get really pissed when someone says something like that and just completely undermines everything my team and I have done.
