Garry's Mod has taught me ****-tons about physics, what things do when you put them together and how to exploit Havok as I see fit(Lol easyweld a prop to itself see what happens).

Its an age thing. Since most people enjoying video games are under 18, people don't want to expose them to adult situations. It isn't the material as much as it is who is being exposed to said material. There are similar situations in movies for years (and books long before that) Since thos other 2 forms of media are more common forms of enertainment for adults, they get overlooked. You should be able to put whatever you want in a game, it is up to the parents and/or retailer to hold up any age restrictions.

I do think that games teach us some things, but it is silly to think they are supposed to teach us anything. They are entertainment and (usually) nothing more.

I always thought of video games as a form of entertaining, and to pass the time while waiting to do something else/for friends to get off work.

That's pretty sad man. If you were being sarcastic, then fine, it is funny, but if you were being serious...ouch

I'm not gonna waste my time reading about ghenghis khan when I can BE ghenghis khan. Same goes for barbarossa, or an aztec. Never played aoe 3, so I don't know about that one.

I don't even waste my time reading my own posts, that's why I make so many type-o's. Look above, it taught me most of what I new? lol
