It's not really news for most, but I just thought, for those of us who really love GoW that we could keep up with whats going on. Look at who the directer is. It's Len Wiseman. If you know who he is you'll know he directed great movies. Movies like Underworld, and its sequels (another one coming in 09) and Independance day, Men in Black, Live Free or Die Hard (ok wasn't so great but wasn't that bad either)

No it would suck if it were Wesley snipes because he doesn't do cole train like voices to energetic for him.

Just get the terry tate office line backer guy to do it. Hes big like cole, he has some acting skills, and he did the voice of cole train. Can't go wrong with that.

They should make it all CGI. That would be so much better in terms of making the locust look the way they should and then they could use the voice actors.

I mean come on, everyone knows almost all video game to movie adaptations sucked. I still have yet to see a movie that offered a decent story line that is even relevant to the actual game story line. Instead they just go off and randomly do some crap that makes it into a "double you tee eff" is this. And who the heck is that guy and non of this makes sense. type stuff.

RE movies have sucked major balls so far, House of the Dead didn't even take place in a house, instead it was on an island(i know i know) but even the game didn't take place on an island, blood rayne is a steaming pile of horse crap, postal is made by uwe boll so we already know how that is gonna be, hitman was OK and i mean a BIG OK. Silent hill actaully kept my attention and was half way decent. They had pyramid head and stuff from the actual game.

Point is, when ever someone makes a movie from a game there is a 95%(random statistic) that it will suck so much crap through a straw while rinsing in its mouth, that it will just kill the fun of the series.

Few adaptations that were done decently was harry potter, iron man, spider man 1, gone with the wind, with some others. Even though those were books, they mostly followed the main story line which actually made it good. When they go off and make their own story it sucks.

FYI screen writer. Marcus was court marshaled. He isn't a POW. By definition a POW is:A prisoner of war (POW, PoW, PW, P/W or PsW) is a combatant who is imprisoned by an enemy power during or immediately after an armed conflict.

Marcus was not captured by the locust cause if he was, he would be dead. And then there would be no story.
