Thank gosh I don't need DX10. Nothing against vista, I just don't want to buy a new operating system

Thanks Crytek, but I believe we have been doing this since the Crysis demo came out.

(I tested myself DX10 very high vs. DX9 modded configs, and if anyone can show me a difference between the two I'll be damned)

yeah i read about this in my issue, and wasn't sure if i read it right. guess i did. yeah.........uhh ..........i'll believe it when i see it. i literally just got finished playing crysis with settings on dx10 high/ 2 things very high at 1680x1050 on my current setup and was experiencing like 35fps soooo.......yeah. right know im thinkin its a little


hopefully its true though. we shall see

Actually I built my brother-in-law a system using an 8600GT, and even with a stock AMD X2 is still did just fine with High @1024x768. Not great, but really not all that choppy either. Perfectly playable for a casual gamer.
