Sports games, who cares, and yeah they've always been better on consoles.

I'd like to see his arguments for, well, all the rest. Especially the ones that started out on the PC and made it big on the PC. (Lucasarts Star Wars games, GTA, etc)

EA PC Sports games were ALWAYS sub par AT BEST. Whatever, there are substitutes.

ok keep talking lets watch the PC gaming industry keep raking in $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

so the types of games for PC have CHANGED (somewhat). RTS, MMORPG, Action-basedRPG, adventure, FPS will ALWAYS BE ON PC (although FPS is ok on consoles as well)

Are there substitutes? EA has exclusive licenses with most sports and other companies aren't making sports PC games. This sucks.

Sorry, but I don't see this affecting PC gaming at all. If you're the type that likes sports games, I would have assumed that you'd already be playing them on a console system, because as near as I can tell consoles have ALWAYS done them better. The mouse & keyboard crowd generally doesn't bother.

Maybe my generally disinterest in organized sports activities is coloring my judgment, but I don't know why EA didn't do this years ago.
