I've been pleased with the latest update. I've noticed a VERY respectable performance increase on my HD3870's (after sorting out a windows update driver BS).

lol ok w/e you say

It seems like almost 3/4 of every WoW players say that, but yet they have never played the game. I haven't either - it looks quite decent enough to buy. I bet its twice a deeper game then WoW will ever be.

from snowman's post it looks as if the game director for AOC said thanks for beta testing the game since release for us.

I was one of the people that said, give them a month or two to see how they get these updates out. But after 7 weeks, they have yet to patch anything to fix performance in the higher level zones (lag/game crashes/etc), they failed to make pvp have any rewards/consequences, yet they are already developing new zones and dungeons. To me it seems as if they have decided to put the cart infront of the horse. One of the biggest priorities should be to put in the end game and fix zones/quests that are experiencing noticable problems, not developing new area's to adventure in.

I have played numerous MMO's when they have launched, so i know it takes some time to polish something up. But i will say, that FunCom is following Star Wars Galaxies (by SOE) in great ways to mess something that has so much potential.

I think it is a great game (some bugs) but it is cool that it is Norwegian, just like me

Lol, only stating the truth as told by the numbers. A couple of MMO's recently have been touted as "WoW Killers" before their release and they start off pretty strong but after a couple of months their numbers drop off sharply and they begin offering discounts to their subscriptions to entice more customers in.

I'm not being a WoW fanboy when I say that WoW has the most active subscribers of any MMO currently out and will continue to stay there until Blizzard finishes their next MMO. I mean just look at the online following that War3, Diablo 2, and Starcraft have had in the past and still have today. Blizzard either laces their packets with highly addictive brain crack or they make games that are really fun to play. No one is going to beat Blizzard in the area of game making, if they see something that wont live up to being the best of its generation and genre they are more than willing to scrap it instead of releasing it and hurting their track record.

Exactly, that is why, for instance, we didn't see Starcraft:Ghost. Which is a shame in a way.

Why don't they offer this from day one? Do they need to get rid of some of the discs printed? If so, why not just make fewer boxed copies.
