"His girlfriend, also a World of Warcraft player, was pleasantly surprised when she found a 50,000 Gold 21st birthday gift from Jake in her in-game mailbox. It’s no diamond ring, but it’s pretty close in WoW!"

Girlfriend!? ROFLMAO

This just blows my mind. I wish I had $40k, I would do something smart with it... Like INVEST IT!! Wow, people who blow money like that don't deserve it in the first place!

Yeah I don't understand... most of WoW is progression weather it is Raiding/Arenas, that technically will get you the best gear PvP or PvE. The most expensive thing is the Epic Flying Mount which is like a lil over 5,000g. So that is still 1/200th the amount he purchased. I knew a guy that purchased that much gold (5,000) for his Epic and it cost him I think around $200. So say $200*200= $40,000...so I suppose he still got the same rate but still crazy and a lil farfetched.

i wonder what he was thinking when he bought it.

$40,000 is a lot to spend on anything, and he must have known the gold wasn't needed.

*sigh

You know, I've always had a negative personal stance to WoW in general, but this guy is an example of the people that need to be sterilized.

I'm dumbfounded.

WOW. No pun intended. What type of fool would throw away a potential nice new car for virtual money? Guess that kid was very rich and spoiled, probably a millionaire.
