Yep. Kids today, and I use that lightly because I'm still consider young, have the attention span of a raisin. If it's too hard they get fed up and go do something else and tell their friends causing the company to lose more money.

SZayat, not disagreeing with you. Some aspects of a game are DEFINITELY harder than what they used to be, but games as a whole today are way too easy.

Assassin's Creed... way too easy.
CoD4... just play it, and you'll eventually get to the end.
Crysis... lol.
The GTA Series... how quickly you beat it only depends on how much time you waste on killing sprees.

It's like games are for the entertainment experience now... rather than any actual challenge. Graphics are taking way too much precedence over gameplay.

Hmm im going to have to say yes and no.

Crysis

Crysis on the hardest mode was ok. It was difficult in parts and not in others. Took a while to complete but wasn't that hard saying they said it was going to be realistic. Easy mode was p*ss

GRAW2
Now, personally. I found the game hard on the normal setting let alone the hardeset one. Saying that, I had no idea of the controls.

MGS4
Besides being a long game, playing it on Normal was fairly challenging. However, Big Boss Extreme mode is very tough. But im still getting through it

CoD4
So so, wasn't really that hard. Some parts were difficult.

UT3
Playing on the hardest setting, Im going to have to say I found this quite hard. Me and my friend played the co-op thing over a LAN, took us quite a while and he is amazing a FPS

CnC3
Easy, but on Brutal. Christ, no chance. To hard

Old Retro Games
Easy, but the no save option made it hard to complete the game

HL Series
Again, ok but no biggie. There are some very hard parts, but the games are amazing so you always want to complete them no matter what the difficulty is **goes to play HL2 series**

Actually I breezed through GRID even on serious mode. Now I'm working on ninja mode . A bit challenging since I seem start 12th on every race >.> and no flashbacks. The older NFS serious were harder since I had to restart multiple times to beat it, but Carbon and Pro Street was just a joke. Even on king mode it was too easy.

A lot of older games are just insanely hard. Robotron 64 was just plain out ridiculously hard.
