Harder... eh.

Older games just required repetition and fast reflexes combined with the inability to save. Newer games I WANT to say make you think more and require technique, but I'm not too sure about that.

Games haven't changed much. They're still repetitive, and increased difficulties still consist of beefing up opponents to near invincible levels and/or weakening your character. The main differences are in the new focus towards graphics and the decreased attention to underlining story mechanics.

Games are WAY easier, that's for sure.

If you think otherwise, you should try and play the DOS version of Ninja Turtles. You will tear your hair out trying to finish it.

Put the ability to save in the NES and up games... And I'll ditch PC games.

I would rather play Street Fighter > GRID

That was one of my first PC games. I can't remember trying to finish it.

They take more time to learn. But harder, I would say no.

easier. There really isnt anything hard about games that are out now. They take like 30 minutes to figure out and thats it. Nothing reqiures skill (except for multi player). The only thing new games have done are become longer.

Games have become kinda easy. Like lets take CoD as and example. In CoD 1 you had to get like medical packs to restore health. In CoD 4 your health regenerates.

Also if anyone wants to play some really hard game, then google I Wanna Be The Guy or IWBTG. Thats sooooo hard

For example with Assasin's Creed...I'll be honest I got pissed as much fun as I had playing it. It was too repetitive...and I loved Gears...but even that got too repetitive. I know they put levels like INSANE or GOD...but...games now a days are taking away the true meaning of gamer.
