I guess Sony was just a big name to blame.

Many people have such a lax attitude similar to yours when it comes to what happens in Africa and to Africans. The US was in an uproar about Wal-Mart using sweat shops, the nation was sooooo convinced about Iraq having WMDs and wanted to 'liberate' the people of Iraq, but then turns a bind eye to children at the age of 6 fighting blood diamond wars and to genocides and ethnic cleansings of epic proportions like Rwanda.

You know nothing. Please stop speaking on the topic. I suggest you take a moment and read about apartheid south africa or what Euro countries and even the US did during the slave trade and thereafter and try to tell me that it doesn't have it's impacts in todays society.

The tribal traditions were never like this before Euro nations went to africa.

So, it's a dual sided thing. Partial blame goes out to the media for reporting on Britney Spears instead of this and partial blame goes to Sony because it HAD to know what was happening to obtain its' raw materials and they probably could care less as long as their shareholders saw a $.10 increase.

Besides, you have yet to bring up a valid point and are just reaching for anything now to try to defend something that you have no need to defend. Bottom line here is that blaming Sony is a stretch. If we want to blame Sony, then every person that uses oil is just as guilty for allowing sadistic, terrorism-supporting regimes to thrive in the Middle East, for example. Or everyone who shops at stores that sell products Made in China is guilty of supporting human rights violations and overbearing communist regimes. Saying Sony is guilty here is like saying you know Kevin Bacon because you have a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend who knows someone who knows Kevin Bacon. Not only is it stupid to conjur up such a connection, but the conclusion that comes out of it is equally stupid.

However I agree, blaming Sony is certainly a stretch.

First of all that's bull****. The African War should be called the Chinese Attempting To Take Over Africa war.

If you want proof, go look at the weapons that are being used. I bet you a thousand dollars that 8 out of 10 weapons you find are Chinese manufactured and were made fairly recently. The deal is the weapons for the commodities. You can't blame Sony or any other corporation. The Chinese government, however, you be the judge on that one.

All Govt's do their fare share to destabilize other countries that don't follow their lead, no one country more involved in strife across the world than our very own USA.

Now normally I wouldn't agree with Stargate here.....but he seems to be right on point. If you have a valid counter-argument to make, you should actually make it instead of just saying he's wrong. That actually makes YOU look bad, because we're all old enough to understand that USUALLY if you can prove someone is wrong, you tend to do so.
