What? So lots of electronic devices use this, and they put the blame on Sony for a war that has happened partially because of the metal? Sony doesn't have any say in the events in other countries, if they want someone to blame it should be the UN.

I think this is a case of "which came first, the chicken or the egg?", because if someone were to take over a country, of course they would take over the economy of said country. To suggest that mining operations helped fuel a war is just ludicrous in this case because it has nothing to do with the war. Genocide, religion, and power are the reasons for their wars.
__________________Besides, if we are looking for the ultimate party to blame, look no further than the former European empires (UK, France, Holland/The Netherlands...). If anyone is to blame for Africa being in shambles it is them for the way they ended their empires earlier in the century.
