The 8.5 million copies-selling action game from Rockstar has helped Take-Two make a net revenue of $539.8 million this passed quarter, more than double the amount made one year ago - $205.4 million.

The three month period that ended on April 30th has also seen Take-Two make a decent profit of $98.2 million or $1.29 per share, a good change over the same period of FY 2007 when the publisher reported a loss of $51.2 million or $0.71 per share.

For the six months ended April 30, 2008, Take-Two's net revenues were $780.3 million, compared to $482.8 million for the same period a year ago while the net income was $60.2 million or $0.80 per share, compared to a loss of $72.8 million or $1.02 for the 2007 period. With GTA IV continuing to sell like hot cakes Take Two will surely be pretty happy when announcing the Q3 results too.

Now if/when they release GTA4 for PC they'll get a nice little boost ontop of that.

This game doesn't deserve a 10. It should of got like a 8 or 7 out of 10. The game wasn't that great. Lots of bugs.

First of all, even if that was the case, thats how 99% of games are.

I think it deserved a 9.9, PC version should be fixed up and will probably deserve the 10.

^If one of my friends said that to me, I would shoot them. For people that like the GTA style games...where the storyline and online does not even amount to half of the things that could be done....THIS GAME IS MORE THAN PERFECT!

How did they screw people out of their money?

1. They advertised the game for single player, not multiplayer. Multiplayer was just an added bonus

2. People bought this game solely for the single player. Multiplayer was just an extra....they did not get screwed. They got what they payed for.
