Great. All this means is that now instead of having just Final Fantasy fanboys, now we'll have Xbox 360 Final Fantasy fanboys and Playstation 3 Final Fantasy fanboys. As if I don't get enough of this Cloud, Tifa, Sephiroth, Chocobo crap from just using the internet.

Watch as this entire forum devolves into debates over which platform houses the better version, just like when GTA4 was released.

in this somewhat rare occasion the 360 version will be overlooked since almost the entire final fantasy fanbase have been brought up on the playstation. naturally.

From what I've read elsewhere it's being released first on the PS3. There's a lot of contradictory news out there now. But it's definitely a port.
