Actually I found out some stores are "buying it back" when the full game hits shelves. I confirmed it with my manager that my Best buy will be doing it.

One thing I didn't realize until very recently was that Polyphony has been releasing "Concept/Prologue" versions of GT games for quite some time now, just not in the US. There was a GT4 Prologue, as well as 3 "Concept" games based on GT3.

Wow just like GT4 but waiting for that release was well worth it!

Polyphony uses these games to help sell cars also. their concepts showcase future cars and car lineups. It's pretty cool.

I know for a fact that Prologue has the Evo X, I'm sure it also has the most recent STI. Also, considering the nature of current-gen consoles, downloadable future cars are a no-brainer.

I have no problem waiting for this game, if they improve on GT4. Can you imagine the tuning possibilities. The GT series is geared more towards the enthusiast market. If you want something that has terrible racing but looks and plays "cool," get Burnout or something.
Assuming that they are improving on GT4, this is going to be one pretty epic racer as you would expect.

Gran Turismo has always been quality, so I'm ok with waiting to 2010 if that's how long it'll take them to make a proper game. Look at NFS, they release a new game every year, and look at the crap quality.
