Default [Ubisoft Forums] Ubisoft Breaks Their Own Rules On Piracy

Quote:
...Why is that, Ubisoft?

(1) You're posting an illegal crack that violates YOUR OWN RULES on piracy
(2) You stole someone else's crack. Couldn't bother making your own? Sheesh. Now THAT'S French for you!
Source: http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/t...1381029176/p/1

It seems like they just took RELOADED's crack and gave that to people having copy protection problems.

What would be funny is if those behind the crack, sued Ubisoft for stealing there work

Actually, it might be one of the Ubisoft devs who actually made that crack. After all, working as a game programmer doesn't mean you can't crack games for a hobby So this threaft is only a matter of perspective: we from the outsede see Reloaded and Ubisoft while the inside guys might know the same person(s) were responsible for both the release from Ubi and the scene crack.

- Ordering a 20' widescreen monitor then realizing you made a mistake while calculating the needed height. Bummer.
- Buying a 3870 a week before 48xx benchmarks surface.
- Having 2 HDDs and buying 2 more w/o checking if the mobo controller can perform past 3 disks in RAID0.
- Buying a Zalman VF-900Cu when even a badass overclock will keep your card alive for two years.

^^ Very believable. PaRadoX who cracked photoshop and was known to be great at it worked in the anti-piracy department for Adobe. Easy job for him to crack it as he is the one that made the algorithm.
