Default [PS3Fan] SE plans 'shocking' announcement

In an interview with 1UP, co-producers Shinji Hashimoto and Yoshinori Kitase for Final Fantasy XIII spoke about the upcoming RPG. They reiterated that FFXIII will not be delayed in Japan due to the 360 version -- Square will complete the PS3 version first then port the game to the 360 during localization for America. The most cryptic statement though, is when Hashimoto is asked about Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete, he replies "You can look forward to the upcoming invite-only fan event DKS3713, where we'll have a major announcement that will shock the fans in attendance."

Im telling you - it must be it. Or possibly something to do with FFVIII if we're lucky.

They never said a straight out NO to any interview since the PS3 demo of FFVII, as far as I've read.

It'll probably be the release date of FFXIII being this year or something. Or maybe it will be an announcement of FFVII. Something that would be shocking is that they have been developing it for a long time now and it will be released very soon.

It would definitely be a shocker if the release window would be a month out or something that is not the normal announcement -> release time like years apart like every other game.

Edit: I know I know. EA has taken over Square-Enix! Shocking enough for you?
