TBH the avatar was the cheesiest part. Seeing as how it's not mandatory I feel better about it. I do like the way they set up the backgrounds in the new dashboard. When It comes out i will try it regardless.

Wait, weren't they making fun of Sony for installing to HDD when GTA IV was released?

In the PS3 the installation is mandatory. I hope in the xbox its just a feature because if its not then I'll be extremely mad.

I thought Sony people were making fun of the 360 for not having it since it meant longer load times. And yeah many people don't have the HDD space to be doing it so making it mandatory would suck.

but to answer the question - yes you would have to uninstall the 10GB or so game to make more room on the Hard drive. Or buy a bigger hard drive.
